Bladen Ramsey v. P. E. Dunlop

Summary

The Texas Supreme Court held that the Court of Civil Appeals did not err by considering an unassigned error that was fundamental and apparent on the face of the record, and that P. E. Dunlop was not entitled to the county commissioner office because he did not receive the greatest number of votes when the votes for the ineligible Ramsey were counted. The Court affirmed the judgment for Ramsey.
