The court adopted the findings that Judge Ickes committed multiple violations of the Code of Judicial Conduct through harassment and vulgar or undignified conduct, an inappropriate workplace culture, use of a racial slur, inappropriate courtroom-related communications, and failure to disclose a familial conflict in a criminal case. Because Ickes was a judge, committed pervasive and multiple violations, caused harm to litigants and victims, and had not resigned, the court imposed a two-year actual suspension rather than the stayed suspension recommended by the board. He was also immediately suspended from judicial office without pay for the duration of the disciplinary suspension.
