Summary

The Court held that the Idaho court lacked personal jurisdiction over the Cook-Reynolds Partnership because Gerald Cook was not authorized to appear for or bind the Partnership and the Partnership lacked sufficient contacts with Idaho. Res judicata did not bar the Partnership's jurisdictional challenge because the issue had not been fully and fairly litigated in Idaho. The Court also held that the Partnership's Rule 60(b)(4) motion, filed after it learned of the judgment when enforcement was attempted, was made within a reasonable time.
